It's been almost 5 years since Karas Kustoms ran the Kickstarter campaign for their first pen project, the Render K. Since then they've become a bit of a household name and have expanded their lineup into retractable, bolt-action, and fountain pens, still maintaining the very "Karas" feel and aesthetic.

Admittedly, the Render K is still my all-time favorite design.

Recently the guys released a more compact version of the Render K called the Render K Mini (or just, Mini K) which I've been carrying consistently for the last few weeks and find it to be a great portable pocket pen. The Mini K comes loaded with a Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 (one of my favorite Parker refills).
