As a bit of a surprise business startup a little over 3 years ago, my own brand of handmade, walnut pen holders emerged under the name of Dudek Modern Goods. Since then I've been able to make and send pieces all around the world and the support has been tremendous.
Every so often I work on a new model to fill a need (usually for myself) which then translates across as a release into the store. The newest being The Stationer, a stand designed to hold 7 writing instruments as well as a larger, A5 sized journal like a Rhodia Webbie, Leuchtturm 1917, or Moleskine.
Each piece is handmade from solid walnut and finished in a satin polyurethane for protection and to bring out the beauty of the grain. No two pieces are exactly alike which is always fun to see.
